I’ve wanted to create a Substack for ages
If I’m being honest, I’ve wanted to write a Substack for ages, but there was always the niggling feeling that it wasn’t quite the right time, or the right subject matter. (should I do it as a personal passion project, or for my business, was just one of the questions I kept asking myself)
The last few months in my business have felt challenging - there’s been some fairly intense things going on in my personal life, which left me drained of energy, and I knew I needed to make some kind of shift to make my business work for me rather than the other way round.
Why now felt like the perfect time
The idea to write a Substack came to me again when I escaped with my partner for a much needed child-free few nights away in Northumbrian countryside. It was the perfect tonic for us to both recharge and reset, and during those couple of days, when I revisited my values, what I love to do, and how I communicate best, a Substack seemed to make perfect sense.
I have always (& think always will do) enjoyed both writing and reading, so much so that they feel like an extension of me. So, what better way to share stories, lessons, and prompts from my, over a decade long, customer service career with my community? And so The Experience was born.
I want to see you succeed one step at a time
My goal is to help hard working small business owners just like you, to make their big vision goals for their client experience (that might once have felt out of reach) a reality one small detail, one connection, one step at a time - & in the process become more confident in what you share with your clients, when you share it, and how you show up for them & your biz as a whole.

When you become a free subscriber you’ll receive The Experience monthly newsletter direct to your inbox, filled with a story or lesson from either my customer service career or life. My hope is that these monthly stories inspire you with what’s possible with your client experience & they’ll also include tangible takeaways that you’ll be able to apply to your business right away.
